Fall is here and I wanted to share our family Fall bucket list for 2020. I will argue that Fall is one of the best season! Some of the best memories I have with my family were experienced in fall. I wanted to share our family bucket list for fall this year. This year is a little different since social distancing still in place for us in California. I still did not want this pandemic to keep us from enjoying the remaining year. We can definitely still have fun and be SAFE!
5 safe things to do this Fall
Fall Bucket List 2020
1. Apple picking
Apple picking was so much fun and just about any kid would enjoy doing this. Are kids really enjoyed trying to find the perfect apple. This year we decided to go to Oak glen, Ca. we visited Riley’s at Los Rios Rancho it was a little far from where we live and that was my only complain. It took about 2 hours to get there and that part was not enjoyable. Once we got there we were excited to find out that the farm was having a small fair. The kids enjoyed a petting zoo and some yummy food. They also had wagon rides, corn maze and a small pumpkin path.
2. Have an Outdoor Picnic
This is something we enjoy all year around. Around this time of year it’s even better. There is still warmth out but just a little fresh breeze. This makes the perfect weather to enjoy an outdoor picnic.
3.Roast Marshmallows
Enjoy the cool weather before winter comes. Being outside under the stars and roasting marshmallows with your family can be really relaxing and enjoyable. These are memories that will last a lifetime.
4. Make Caramel Apples
This one is Soo delicious! Who doesn’t like caramel apples? You can use the apples you picked from the apple orchard! This is so easy to do and there is also caramel kits that you can purchase. Or you can make your own caramel and have different toppings so the kids can decorate them themselves. Blessedbeyondcrazy.com has a great caramel sauce recipe.
5. Go on a hike
Lastly, going on a hike is always so fun to do with the kids. What i also like to incorporate in a hike is a scavenger hunt. It is entertaining watching the kids try to find everything they need on the list. This Is still on our Fall bucket list. We are waiting until it gets a little fresher in Ca since it is still in the 90s here.
There is so many more Fall activities that you can enjoy with your family and still be SAFE. This new normal can still be fun. I do not want what is going on it our world to completely take over our fun and happiness. I want the rest of the year to be filled with happiness and be less stressful. Let me know what activity you will be doing with your family.
