I have been wanting to invest in this cool little machine called the Cricut Maker but the price was intimidating. I was also scared that it might end up sitting in the corner an collect dust. I did ALOT of research and I FINALLY decided to go for it and purchase it. After all the hours and research and trust me when I say ALOT of research. i am talking months and months of comparing and trying to decide if it was worth the investment. I rounded up the top 5 things you need to know before buying the Cricut Maker.
- Deciding between the Cricut Air and the Cricut maker I decided to go for the Cricut Maker because I did not want to be limited on the projects I wanted to create. I will link a great post that helped me decide between the two. Daydreamintoreality went into detail into everything you need to know to decide what machine is better for you.
- Do not get overwhelmed with all the different tools and accessories The Cricut offers amazing bundles to get you started. They also add in your purchase supplies for your very first project.
- Set up is really easy so do not worry about that. They have steps that even help you with your first project.
- Cricut access and Design Space This confused me in the beginning because for some reason I assumed that you had to pay for Cricut access to use your Cricut and you DO NOT. Cricut offers Cricut design space which is what you will use to create all your crafts and it is FREE. Cricut design space also has free fonts and images you can use to create some awesome craft. Cricut access offers tons more designs and fonts that are much more prettier but I do not think you need it to create unique and beautiful crafts. You can also download your own images which is a plus.
- You can use your own images I am still learning all I need to know to use the Cricut but my favorite thing is downloading my own images. You can create your own designs on procreate and make some great stickers and vinyl crafts.
So after all your research that you have done and you landed on investing on the Cricut maker. YAYY congratulations!!! Now this is what will come in your brand new Cricut maker.
